This Privacy Policy explains what information Asending collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and direct so you can actually read it.
Who we are
Asending is an email marketing service for ecommerce brands. We build and run Klaviyo email programs for our clients. We operate primarily out of Los Angeles, California, with team members in Las Vegas, Nevada. "Asending," "we," and "us" refer to the business in this policy.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide to us directly and information collected automatically when you visit our website or interact with our ads.
Information you provide:
- Name, email address, brand name, and website when you fill out a contact form, lead form, or chat with our assistant on asending.com.
- Booking information when you schedule a call through our Calendly link.
- Any messages or details you share with us through email or the chat assistant on our site.
- If you become a client: business information and Klaviyo account access necessary to deliver the service.
Information collected automatically:
- Standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps).
- Analytics and advertising identifiers from cookies and pixels, including the Meta Pixel.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and book sales calls.
- To deliver the service you signed up for, including building and configuring email in your Klaviyo account.
- To send service-related emails, project updates, and (with your consent) marketing emails about Asending.
- To measure and improve our website, ads, and content.
- To comply with applicable laws and protect against fraud or abuse.
Third parties we share with
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information with the following service providers to operate Asending:
- Klaviyo — email marketing platform; stores your contact details if you join our list or are imported by a client.
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — advertising and analytics; receives event data through the Meta Pixel and lead data through Meta Lead Ads.
- Calendly — meeting scheduling.
- Anthropic — provides the AI model that powers the chat assistant on our site. Conversation content is processed to generate responses; it is not used to train models.
If you become a client, we will only access third-party tools (such as your Klaviyo account) to the extent necessary to deliver the service, under your authorization.
Cookies and tracking
asending.com uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising. The Meta Pixel tracks page views, form submissions, and other events to help us measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block cookies in your browser settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at ryan@asending.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we have collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.
Data retention
We retain lead and client information for as long as needed to provide the service, respond to inquiries, and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time using the contact email below. Some information may be retained in backups or required by law for a limited period after deletion.
Children's privacy
Asending is a B2B service intended for business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or by email if appropriate.
